Kemp and I just got this picture in the mail from Lacie Oakey. She did an amazing job! I can't wait to get this framed and hang it on our wall!

What Makes Marriage Work

As most of you know, I have one more online class to get done in order to be officially "Graduated". I'm taking the class through BYU and it is Parenting.

I don't know about you, but I have several married friends who say they never fight. That is impossible, right? How can a married couple never fight? Kemp and I have our occasional arguments or disagreement, but we always talk things through. Maybe you are the couple that fights more often than other couples....don't worry. If that works for you and your spouse, then you aren't doing anything wrong.

Opryland Hotel & Temple

While my parents were in town, Kemp and I took them to the Gaylord Opryland Hotel yesterday. It really was amazing to see...

(This^ reminded us of how Spain looks . Not exactly the same, but similar.)

We also took them by the Nashville Temple. It's such a blessing to have a temple so close to us.

Independence Day!

My parents made it to TN to see us for the 4th of July. We went to a park with the APX office. They had pizza, tennis courts, a basketball court, volleyball courts, and a big jungle gym for the kids to play in. It was a lot of fun! Of course we watched fireworks that night. We went to the city (Nashville) to watch the big show! The pictures don't do it justice....it was one of the best/biggest shows we've ever seen!

Baseball with the APX guys...

Every once in a while the guys all get together to play some kind of sport in the morning before they start knocking doors. Yesterday it was Baseball.

The wives all sat in the dugout cheering on the boys. They came up with some really cute cheers!

Kylie tried her best to talk on her fake cell phone and push Toby. Kylie is Jamie and Conrad's little girl. She's adorable!

This is Jay and Tina's baby girl, Addie. She's such a happy baby!

New Shoes

Kemp and the office he works in have been kicking their butts all summer knocking doors. As a reward for hitting one of their goals, they got new Nike shoes. Pretty awesome!
