Front Yard Upgrades

These upgrades were done back in April but I just remembered to take some pictures of the finished project today. (The guys in the pictures are working on installing the curbing).

Making Things Official

I am about 10 weeks pregnant! I'm sure several of you know this, but we have been trying for about 2 1/2 years. This is definitely a blessing for our family and we are very excited!

New Chairs

Before AfterWe got these chairs at Ikea but the legs were a dark brown. So we sanded them down and painted them black to match the table. It was a project that took way too long but we love how it turned out.

Dance Workshop

June 5th I took the opportunity to go to a dance workshop that was taught by some amazing dancers from So You Think You Can Dance. I was sooo out of shape and sooo sore half way through the day and for the following week but it was worth it. I hadn't danced in so long and I just wanted to challenge myself to give it a try again.

Mother's & Father's Day Gift

Originally I had planned to make this for Mother's Day. Unfortunately there were a few snags that held me up for a little while so I almost got it sent to my parents in time for Father's Day. Sad huh? Anyways, Kemp helped me make these for my parents. They turned our great! It's pictures of my parents, their parents, and then my brother and me. It's supposed to be like a little family tree for my mom to display on her fire mantel.

Memorial Day Weekend

I have been terrible about taking pictures but we had an awesome long weekend for Memorial Day. Kemp and I both had work off that Monday so Brion and Danielle came down from Idaho to visit. That Saturday morning Kemp and I ran the 5K (below). Later that day Danielle and I had fun splurging. We went shopping at Ikea and it was so much fun! Monday we had a little BBQ and Tana and Paul came over. It was fun to reunite with some friends from SVU.
